MEng Mechatronics (SFU)  ·  BC Teaching Certificate  ·  EIT (EGBC)

I'm an engineer who has spent his career at the intersection of systems and people. A Master of Engineering in Mechatronics from SFU and a Bachelor of Technology from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College gave me the foundation; four years at Samsung taught me to turn complexity into something people can actually use. Teaching was a deliberate move — bringing that same precision into the classroom, where systems thinking becomes a way to develop people.

Outside the classroom I've built a company from zero, led a community organization through five years and every level of its leadership, and served Canada's democratic process at the polls. The thread through all of it is simple: work, at its best, is service.

The journey

One trunk, many branches.

  1. 2014–2020

    Roots

A Bachelor of Technology at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, then a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics at Simon Fraser University. Punjab to Canada — the foundation everything grows from.

  2. 2020–2024

    Samsung Electronics

Over four years as a Technical Writer, turning complex enterprise platforms into documentation developers around the world could actually use.

  3. 2025–2026

    The classroom

Computer Science, Robotics, and Engineering for Grades 8–12 under the IB MYP framework at Khalsa Schools of BC. Sumo-wrestling robots, Arduino systems, and real engineering problems.

  4. 2025–2026

    Dojhi Dairy

Founded a direct-to-consumer, farm-to-table dairy company — nearly 6,000 orders and over $220,000 in sales within its first year.

  5. 2021–now

    SPEATBC

Five years and every level of leadership, from Student Activities Chair to President — delivering the 31st Annual Gala and founding the Scholarship Legacy Fund — now serving as Immediate Past President.

  6. 2024–2025

    Elections Canada

Deputy Returning Officer in the 2024 Cloverdale–Langley by-election, then Central Poll Supervisor in the 2025 federal election, leading a team of officers through polling day.
